Nationwide Ordering for Mazda Dealers

From 2013 we have been supplying branded clothing for Mazda’s events through their marketing agency, Fusion Events. Mazda then approached us in 2015 looking to develop a full range of branded uniform, corporate accessories and promotional gifts. They were also looking for individual online ordering capabilities for their entire dealership network so that they could each manage their own ordering requirements themselves.

PCL worked closely with Mazda to ensure these requirements were fulfilled by following these 4 stages:

1. Visuals designs - it began with following brand guidelines and producing visuals offering a range of choices and designs; to better understand the style and look that Mazda was seeking in their corporate uniform and gifts (which included umbrellas, bags and pens).

2. Garment samples and quotations - samples and meetings were then held to discuss these options further, offering recommendations and special prices to help narrow down the chosen product offering.

3. Branded samples - with two different branding options to also consider (Mazda and Mazda MX5), PCL also produced embroidered garment samples which allowed Mazda to review the end product before making their final decisions – and also allowing for any final amendments before the main production. The final choice was narrowed down to a range of high quality products which included embroidered waterproof jackets with mazda branded zip pulls and neck labels, bespoke manufactured woven ties and eye catching printed umbrellas.

4. Online staff webshop – once all products were signed off for approval, we developed an online webshop portal listing all their chosen branded corporatewear and promotional merchandise. With their unique password and dealer number, each dealer could then log on individually across the UK to order for their dealership staff. PDF instructions on how to order online with full product details was also sent out to the dealer network to support them. For ease of self-ordering, monthly reporting was also generated by us for Mazda’s Head Office and invoicing purposes.

Supported by a dedicated PCL team, Mazda are still ordering with us today and as of 2020, we have now upgraded their webshop to our new, much improved portal - offering more functionality and capabilities for the end dealer.
